West Coast Community Adjustment Program- Next intake: The preliminary application (Expression of Interest) must be submitted to a CF office by Sept 24th, 2010.
If your preliminary proposal is approved, a detailed project proposal will have to be submitted to the local CF office before Oct 15th, 2010 in order to be considered at the next WCCAP Committee meeting in November.
The West Coast Community Adjustment Program (WCCAP) is a federal initiative aimed at fostering increased economic activity and improving the quality of life in British Columbia's fishing-dependant coastal communities. Its goal is to encourage long-term,
sustainable economic development and diversification in these coastal communities in order to diversify local economies, facilitate economic adjustment and enable collaboration and partnerships leading to enterprise opportunities. REDI-BC - Community Futures led projects


REDI-BC is a joint initiative between Western Economic Diversification Canada - BC Region and Community Futures British Columbia. The initiative will be in place until March 31, 2012, and will provide $3 million to support economic development projects in rural BC.
What kinds of projects are eligible?
To be eligible for funding, a project must be led by your local Community Futures and focus
on one or more of the following strategic areas:
• Technology commercialization
• Trade and investment
• Business productivity and competitiveness
• Rural diversification
