The Western Youth Entrepreneur Program is designed to help young people recognize their entrepreneurial goals and start a small business. The program offers, guidance in business, planning, development and operation; mentoring and counselling; and, access to small business loans.

Who is eligible?
If you live in a Western Canadian community and are between the ages of 19 and 29 you may be eligible for support. As an interested applicant, you should also:

• have a creative business idea or plan
• need help in developing your business ideas into real plans
• want to shape your future and make the most of your talents
• be looking to invest in yourself and in your community
• be interested in financial independence
