Community Futures of the Pacific Northwest provides entrepreneurs with small business loans of up to $ 75,000 when traditional lending institutions are unable to help. New or expanding businesses which develop and diversify the economy will be given consideration under the General Investment Loan Fund. Loans are available for new business start-ups, business expansion or to stabilize an existing business.

The CFDC-PNW loans committee will consider the following when reviewing a loans application;

  • viability of the business
  • competent management
  • experience related to the venture
  • local job creation
  • location of the business in the region served by Community Futures of the Pacific Northwest
  • reasonable personal financial investment
