Getting to Prince Rupert by land:

Land access from Prince George is by Trans-Canada Yellowhead Highway 16. Connections south to Vancouver, north to Dawson Creek (Highway 97) or east to Alberta (Highway 16), can be made in Prince George. Connect with Highway 37 east of Terrace for travel north to Stewart/Hyder and the Yukon, or south to Kitimat.

Greyhound Bus Lines offers twice-a-day service between Prince Rupert and Prince George, with connections to points north, south and east. VIA Rail offers daylight service between Prince Rupert and Jasper, stopping overnight in Prince George. Three arrivals and departures a week.

Getting to Prince Rupert by water:

BC Ferries and the Alaska Marine Highway System operate year-round routes to Prince Rupert.
